Who started MAVINN Muay Thai, and when
The camp opened in Bangkok in 2016 as a small gym in the Lat Phrao area, and grew into the four-storey building in Bueng Kum that you can train at today. A second gym followed in Pattaya. In the Thai fight scene the camp is known as Singha Mawynn, and that is the name you will find on fighter records and in the Muay Thai press.
- 2016The first camp opens in the Lat Phrao area of Bangkok.
- 2019The camp moves into its current four-storey building on Soi Nuanchan 54 in Bueng Kum, with a full training hall, a fitness room, a kitchen and accommodation for the fight team.
- 2022A Bangkok gym guide records the camp as Best Camp of the Year.
- TodayTwo gyms open to the public, Bangkok and Pattaya, with 22 fighters listed under the camp on the public fight record.

You do not have to take our word for it
Anyone can write anything on their own website. Muay Thai magazines, gym guides and fight databases have written about this camp under the name Singha Mawynn, so you can look us up rather than take our word for any of it.
Siam Fight Mag
A feature in the Muay Thai magazine covers how the camp started, the building it moved into, and names Namsaknoi, Kaolan and Denkaosan as coaches here.
The Bangkok gym guide on muaythai.com
Its list of Bangkok gyms carries our Bueng Kum address, names the same coaches, and records the camp as Best Camp of the Year 2022.
Muay Thai Records
The fight database lists 22 fighters under this camp, including Superbon, Shadow and Tapaokaew. Each of them has a fight record you can read without asking us.
Lumpinee, Rajadamnern, WBA and ONE
Every title named on this page sits in a stadium or promotion record. None of those records are ours to write or to edit.

What your first session at MAVINN Muay Thai looks like
- A trainer watches your first roundSomeone works out where to start you, rather than putting you at the back of a class.
- Warm-up, technique, then padsThe same order every session, so you always know what is coming next.
- Rounds get corrected as you goTrainers stop you mid-round to fix a shot instead of saving every note for the end.
- Sparring is optional, and never on day oneYou spar when a trainer says you are ready, not because the rest of the class is doing it.
Who trains here. Complete beginners on holiday, residents training two or three times a week, and active fighters getting ready for a card. Women and juniors train in the same sessions and the work is adjusted to age and level.
What to bring. Shorts and a shirt. Gloves and wraps can be borrowed for a first session, and both gyms have showers, lockers and parking on site.
